When it comes to designing new football boots, there is no denying that Nike are one of the best brands around. Their relentless pursuit for perfection has brought us some classic boots over years, and their latest invention has raised the bar yet again.
Designed with Barcelona’s latest brazilian superstar Neymar in mind, the Nike Hypervenom build on the success of the Nike Mercurial, in offering speed combined with unrivalled agility thanks to the innovative split toe plate and agility traction pattern helping deliver a quick response under pressure.
The NEW Nikeskin technology, provided in a one piece design, provides a close-to-foot fit and a natural on-the-ball touch. This is coupled with Nike’s ACC technology ensuring the same control in wet conditions.
It is no secret that they have been designed with Neymar’s style of play in mind, and unfortunately with Nike choosing to maintain four silo’s, this launch coincides with the end of the T90. This means that long time T90 fans like Rooney and Lewandowski will adopt the Hypervenom as their preferred choice for the forthcoming season.
There are three different versions of the boots available, depending on your preference and budget. The Phantom are top end version and a carbon copy of the ones Neymar will be wearing. Whilst the Phatal and Phelon are takedown versions which include the same design, but the material differs to help reduce the manufacturing costs and make them more accessible to customers on a budget.
